Counseling for children

You’re doing the best you can as a parent and providing your child with all she needs to thrive. The melt-downs continue, the defiance is getting worse, and you’re tired of the daily phone calls from school. You’re not alone, and there is help available.

Perhaps you have a teen how making the wrong decisions, is angry all the time and increasingly isolating. You’re not sure if it’s typical for this stage or if something is wrong.

Raising healthy and happy children is hard. There are many causes for the problems that children have, but more importantly, there is help for children and families. Research says the earlier the intervention, the better chance the child has to get beyond their difficulties. If you decide to wait, the emotional and behavioral problems get worse and will follow that child into adulthood.

Child counseling makes a substantial positive difference in the life of the child and parents. The stress associated with having a child who is struggling is real.

Here’s how we can help:
We work with children ages two years old and up. We help with challenging behaviors, depression, anxiety, school issues, defiance, attention deficit, and many other issues. We help children to listen better, behave, stop meltdowns in their tracks. You will feel more in control as the parent and no longer question your parenting or disciplining techniques. Your family will be happier and less chaotic. Who doesn’t want a peaceful family?

Give us a call today and let’s discuss your child or teen’s specific needs? Let’s talk about how we can help your family to reach a place of peace and happiness. You’re not alone.
