BrodieLynn Hughes, MSW Pre-licensed Professional
Although she grew up in Delaware, Brodie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 2004. From there she began working in residential treatment facilities with adolescents of various backgrounds. She and her husband served as foster parents to teenage boys in Utah while building their own family. They moved back to Delaware with their six children in 2012. She later earned her Master’s of Social Work from Delaware State University and is currently working towards becoming a Licenced Clinical Social Worker.
In her personal life, Brodie is very religious and considers the health of the soul and the body when discussing the health of the mind. She is very spiritually-guided, but also places strong value in scientific evidence-based practice. She utilizes a number of different modalities in her therapy sessions. Adolescents are her speciality, but she enjoys working with individuals of all ages
Debra Hutz, LPCMH
Debbie graduated from Seton Hall University with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2014. During internship and after graduating, she worked with victims of Domestic violence as well as children who were exposed to domestic violence. Debbie as also spent time in private practice working with children and adults individually and in the group setting. Some areas of focus are anxiety, depression, ADHD, impulsivity and behavioral issues. Debbie strives to nurture a trusted relationship with her clients and create a comfortable and safe environment in which they can explore and grow.
Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 grown children, reading, traveling and needlecrafts including knitting for babies in the NICU at Christiana Hospital .
Wanda Miller, LSW
Wanda is a lifelong learner which includes an A.A.S. Degree in Accounting & Finance from Delaware Technical & Community College, a B.S. Degree in Psychology from Delaware State University and a Master of Social Work Degree (Health & Military Concentration) from The University of Southern California.
Mrs. Miller has a diverse background supporting and advocating for youth and adults for over 15 years. Evidence-Based Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Theory, along with, Family Systems Analysis are among Wanda’s preferred treatment tools in alleviating anxiety, grief/bereavement and other mental health issues.
Her varied experiences positively relating to all types of people help to make her the perfect fit when connecting with individuals and families. She has a compassionate manner and sincere interest in guiding people toward wholeness.
